UROMED Temperature Measurement Catheter for Children
The UROMED Temperature Measurement Catheter is used prior to, during or after an operation, as well as in
intensive care wards. It serves to ensure transurethral urine drainage while continuously monitoring the patient’s body core temperature at the same time.
The short, atraumatic Nelaton tip enables safe insertion of the DEHP- and latex-free silicone balloon catheter. Its two opposing eyes and the large inner lumen ensure a high drainage capacity. The solid funnel is suitable for connecting compatible UROMED urine drainage or urine measurement systems.
The YSI 400 compatible sensor is connected to the patient monitor using suitable adapter cables to accurately determine changes in body temperature, for instance in cases of low-grade fever and hypothermia. You will find a selection of fitting cables in our product range. It boasts a measuring accuracy of ± 0,2 °C within a measuring range of 25 - 45 °C.
